The Virgin Mary is depicted bust, dressed in a black maphorion, centrally, with her hands crossed over her chest, in a sign of prayer and acceptance. In the distant plane to the left of the icon, the Savior Jesus Christ crucified on the Cross is depicted. In the upper register, two long stems with flowers and leaves arranged symmetrically are depicted. The drawing is refined, the color is harmonious. State of conservation: relatively good, it presents a transversal crack from the upper right corner to the lower left and two cracks in the lower left part.

Published in "New Considerations Regarding Glass Icons from Transylvania," by Alexandru Constantin Chituță, Sibiu, 2021, page 207. So far, four similar icons are known: one in the collection of the "Saint Nicholas" Church in Calbor, Brașov, one in the collection of the Museum of Făgăraș Country, one in the collection of the Art Collections Museum, Bucharest - Dan Nasta Collection, and one in the collection of the "Dimitrie Gusti" National Village Museum, in Bucharest.
