61. Adapting to Us

"Adapting to us" focuses on the problematic relationship between man and nature, with a human being stronger than ever before. However, humanity does not know how to use its power, consequently leading to the extinction of animal species and ecosystems, without seeking anything other than its own comfort and entertainment. The conflict is expressed by this sculpture with concrete structure enclosing in it as in a geological layer of the anthropocentre, a fossilized animal skull, trapped in the expansion process.
