After the end of the First World War, artist Dărăscu resumes his painting activity with a great verve. Having moved on from his Neo-Impressionist attempts, his post-1920 palette starts to take shape and to reach the maturity norms, qualities we would become accustomed to, thanks to his Interbellum painting. On the same terms, the marine painting would remain constant for the artist who coordinates his palette according to Impressionistic and Post-Impressionistic principles. The light effect, the breach of the spectrum, the chromatic vivacity offered by the zenith-like landscapes or by water areas (typical for Dobrudja), would be characteristic for most of the cycles accomplished in Tulcea, Mangalia, Balchik or the Danube Delta. In 1924, within the personal exhibition organized in the Mozart Hall, one can notice this broad vision, be it in an Impressionistic manner, letting backgrounds sink and marking the close-ups using the inks inherited from Divisionism, be it in his already distinctive manner, where structures are built in masses of colour.
