Once with his exhibition debut at the Dalles Hall, in 1928, artist Constantin Baraschi's (Mușat) career would enter a continuously upwards path, shortly becoming one of the most expressive representatives of the art of sculpture. He would be a member of several artistic associations: 1930–1940, "Grupul nostru" ("Our Group"); 1932, "Salonul de toamnă" ("The Autumn Salon"); 1939, President of the Fine Arts Trade Union. He would represent a notable presence within the Official Salon and the Artistic Youth exhibitions. In 1939, within the 39th Artistic Youth exhibition (the 2nd to the 30th of April), he would display five works, among which: "Fragment de Kariatidă" ("Caryatid Fragment"), "Crist" ("Christ"), "Țărancă" ("Peasant Woman"), and "Compoziție religioasă" ("Religious Composition").
