Piesa face parte din structura decorativă a interiorului casei tradiţionale aşezându-se pe perete, după farfuriile decorative. Decorul vegetal (Pomul Vieţii cu flori) şi simbolic (cruci) este concentrat la capete, în registre transversale. Motivele sunt alese cu negru, roşu, alb pe fond, în contrast cromatic.
