Utilaj complet, lucrat din diferite esenţe de lemn, în funcţie de operaţiile care urmau a fi executate. Cadrul de susţinere este realizat din lemn rezistent. Utilajul include părţi fixe şi părţi mobile: roata cu obezi şi cruce lucrate în stil tradiţional (la interior are inclusiv bolovanul care reglează cursa), jugul care alunecă pe masa strungului poartă lemnul de prelucrat, pedala acţionată prin forţa umană mişcă roata.
