Primul deceniu al secolului XX marchează momente de real succes în activitatea lui Michel Simonidy. În 1900 era contractat de Le Figaro pentru o comandă de 6 postere, expunea constant la Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts între 1903 și 1910, an în care expunea portretul lui Take Ionescu.
