Research information
The work took part in the Ion Vlasiu personal exhibition, Sala Dalles, Dec. 1943 - Jan. 1944, when both sculpture and painting were displayed. The work is mentioned in the exhibition catalogue at cat. 6, under the title "Evanghelistul Ioan" ("John The Evangelist"). The work is reproduced in a chronicle of the exhibition published by the "Curentul" newspaper, year XVII, January 16, 1944.
