Research information
The work took part in the 24th exhibition of the Artistic Youth Society, Bucharest, March 4-30, 1926 and is mentioned and reproduced in the catalogue of the exhibition at cat. 132, under the title "Ãntre prietene" ("Between friends"). The artwork took part in the International Exhibition in Barcelona, ââ1929, on which occasion it was awarded the Grand Prize. The work is mentioned and reproduced in the exhibition catalogue, on page 22, cat. 45, under the title "Au piano". The work is accompanied by the Medal of the International Exhibition in Barcelona and the "Gran Premio" diploma awarded to Nicolae Vermont for taking part with this painting in the Romanian Pavilion. The work took part in the exhibition of the "Universul" Salon, at the "Universul" Hall in Bucharest, 1930 and is reproduced in the "IlustraÈiunea RomânÄ" magazine, no. 47, November 13, 1930 in the article dedicated to the exhibition.
