Research information
The artwork took part in the 8th Theodor Pallady personal exhibition, at Romanian Athenaeum, in 1937, being one of the 99 works on display. At that time the artwork was presented under the title "ModÄ veche" ("Old Fashion") and later, in 1971, it was inventoried under the title "Un veac" ("A Century"). The work is mentioned in the article "Jaloane în datarea unor picturi de Th. Pallady" ("Milestones in the dating of some paintings by Th. Pallady") by Petre Oprea, Revista Muzeelor, 1976, on page 48.
