Senatul României îi comanda sculptorului Ion Jalea această medalie în onoarea regelui Carol al II-lea. Aversul este dominat de figura regelui în picioare, în mâna dreaptă având sceptrul iar în stânga Constituția din 1938. Pe revers, în partea superioară se află stema regatului iar în exergă se poate citi un amplu text encomiastic dedicat suveranului.
