Vasul de formă piriform aplatizat este decorat în lujeri de genţiană de culoare rubinie rămasă transparentă pe un fundal rozaliu matisat.
Nume rareori prezent în aria sticlei stratificate de stil Art Nouveau, Montesy este adesea înregimentat în grupul sticlarilor francezi ai perioadei. Numărul restrâns de lucrări create anual transformă prezenţa unei piese pe podiumul de licitaţie în adevărat eveniment.
