The fantastic world created by the artist fascinates with its fabulous bestiary, where numerous varieties of animals and plants, hypnotizing and vast landscapes can be found, all rendered in a vibrant, exotic color palette. His visits to Africa inspire him to rediscover and return to painting. Following these journeys, strong influences of the African style can be observed, nicely blended with the surrealist elements found in Perahim's painting. Each of his works is akin to a spectacle filled with vitality and festivity. The characters are illustrated in a sublimated, totemized form. Their color palette and textures are of a hypnotizing beauty, specific to Perahim, reminiscent of the lush vegetation in African territories. Rarely can the morphological identity of the characters from Perahim's imaginary world be confined to a single aspect, they are formed through a conglomerate of organic and inorganic, real and mystical elements. The stunning bestiary amazes with its vibrant colors, akin to the plumage of exotic birds in the African jungles.
