Research information

The artwork was part of the „Capodopere de Nicolae Tonitza din colecții particulare" ("Masterpieces by Nicolae Tonitza from private collections") Exhibition, Museum Night 2015, Artmark Galleries. The artwork was part of the „Tonitza și geniul copilăriei" ("Tonitza and the Childhood Genius") Exhibition, Artsafari 2019, and is reproduced in the exhibition catalogue on p. 214, under the title "În cerdac" ("On the Veranda"). Within the Library of the Romanian Academy, a preliminary study of the work is kept, made in ink on paper, under the title "Fetiță" ("Girl") (20.9 x 17 cm), undated [1921-1924], reproduced in catalogue of "Tonitza. Imagini ale copilăriei" ("Tonitza. Childhood Images") Exhibition, Mureș County Museum, 2019.

PROVENANCE

colecția istorică Acad. prof. univ. dr. Roman Moldovan (1911-1996)- economist, sociolog și membru titular al Academiei Române. A publicat un număr de peste 200 lucrări științifice și didactice.
