From a documentary point of view, this work includes the geographical description of the two Romanian provinces, a history of ruling families (Cantemir, Ghika, Brâncoveanu etc.), demographic statistics, information about trade, justice and army, description of cultures, plants and animals etc.. We have a new edition, 8º format, published in Neuchâtel in 1781, belonging to Jean-Luis Carra and published by Friedrich Wilhelm von Bauer, with 371 numbered pages, the mirror of the text of 11 x 6 cm and 27 lines in full page. The binding is original brown leather glued on cardboard, the spine decorated with floral elements and the title "Histoire de la Moldavie". The condition is very good, with a manuscript note on the first page from 1837.
