The artwork is reproduced in the album "Maitec. Wood.Gold.Light", National Museum of Art of Romania, Bucharest, 2019. The artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the artists.
The pure play of reflections, at the origin of the new series of works by Dana & Stéphane Maitec, recalls Borges' theory regarding the "active aesthetics of prisms", which have the power to impose new visions of the world, as opposed to the mimetic passivity of mirrors, which only reproduce the "objectivity of reality".
