14. Wind in my pages [2020]

Works created during the summer, by a walnut tree whose leaves were blown by the wind. Although the tree was four floors tall, his branches only knocked at the window of the artist’s room, on the second floor. This intention of nature to communicate was turned into a drawing. Each line represents a lisp, each stain is a pause. The drawings can be interpreted as a meditation on the journey of the wind around the world and of the stories it collected, before they were put on paper. Starting from the metaphor of the chaos theory, according to which the flap of a butterfly’s wing can cause a tornado, we can envision each line of the drawing as o breath of someone from far away or from long ago.
