Exhibited at the Sindan Cultural Centre, the current work is part of a series in which the artist sought to create a personal mythology, starting from the symbolist character of some key images: the snail, the angel, the wheelbarrow, the horse. The central symbol is an angel of death, an apocalyptic knight on a horse, creating a forced junction of the telluric with the divine, thus creating a subjective reality with values that are overturned or different from the everyday. The world reveals itself in a dark tenebrous manner, invaded by shells, strung together almost obsessively, and suggesting a petrified time, reminiscent of another era. The depicted world seems to be in a state of erosion by its own low values and inequities.
