The work marked the transition, in the intention of the editors, from Calendar to Almanac, that is, towards a more complex work, which includes not only information of general interest, but also historical and literary pieces, all related to the Jewish community in Romania. In the editors' foreword, reference is made to the period of anti-Semitic persecution and the Holocaust in Romania.
