The astonished monk Agapie Landos, living at the beginning of the 17th century, wrote several works of Orthodox erudition, of which the best known is "The Salvation of Sinners", which was printed in multiple editions throughout the Orthodox world. The current work, "The New Paradise", is represented by a copy from an edition that appeared in 1745. Original covers are missing. The pages from the beginning are damaged.
