"The Moon of Bucharest" encompassed a series of artistic and cultural events that celebrated, under this guise, the cult of personality of King Carol II. Ary Murnu included in the image all the characteristic buildings of the capital, including, in the central plan, the church of Bucur, the legendary founder of the city. The original copy is handwritten signed by the artist in the bottom left corner.
