Scarlat Callimachi (1896-1975) was an avant-garde poet, active in the literary circles of the interwar period. A clandestine member of the Communist Party, he pursued a political career after 1948. Also known by the nickname of The Red Prince. The volume's binding is new. The copy retains the original covers.
