The great art collector and bibliophile Vasile Morțun (1860-1919), who was also a parliamentarian and liberal minister, published this edition of Eminescu's writings in 1890. The present copy includes, bound at the end, not at the beginning as in the epoch edition, a facsimile letter of the poet. Also at the end, on the last white leaf, a poem was written, signed Gh. C. Frimu.
