In the golden field of the icon, Jesus Christ is rendered down to his waist, while blessing with his right hand and leaning his left hand on the opened Gospel featuring a text written in red and black. He is dressed in the traditional red chiton and a light blue himation, with rich golden embroideries at the neckline and on the sleeves, the creases of the clothes being highlighted in gold and white tones. Around his head, Jesus has a crucifer aura made of silver. His face, rendered according to the traditional iconography, is shaped in a palette of ochre shades. The painting of the icon is characteristic to the second half of the 18th century Russia.
