197. Set of decoration patent with "Military Virtue " granted to Captain Gheorghe Magherescu, Bucharest, March 24, 1941, with the handwritten signature of King Michael and General Iosif Iacobici, three photographs and a visit card of Captain Gheorghe Magherescu

Captain Gheorghe Magherescu of the Grand Staff was decorated with the "Military Virtue" for his acts of bravery during the suppression of the Legionary rebellion in January 1941. The decree is signed by hand by King Michael and General Iosif Iacobici, Minister of National Defence. Next to the document are three vintage photographs in which Captain Magherescu appears together with other officers, captured in various everyday and official moments, as well as a visit card of the officer from the time when he had the rank of Lieutenant.
