Research information
The work was most probably part of Ștefan Popescu's personal exhibition at the Galerie Bernheim Jeune et fils in Paris, 16-31 January 1904, where he exhibited 6 works dedicated to the Notre Dame de la Joie church, at category 14-19. At the same time, in the months of March and April, Ștefan Popescu exhibited 4 "Notre Dame de la Joie" paintings - categories 99-102 - at the Artistic Youth Society.
