The artwork was part of the 7th solo exhibition, Dalles Hall, Bucharest, 1936, when he exhibited 85 paintings. The artwork participated in the series of exhibitions dedicated to modern Romanian art during 1943, Rumänische Kunst der Gegenwart: Kunsthalle Bern, February 13 - March 14, 1943, cat. 28; Kunsthaus Zurich, March 23 - April 18, cat. 17; Basel, May 2-31, 1943, cat. 21; Stockholm, September 11 - October 10, 1943, cat. 28. The artwork is presented and reproduced in the magazine "Arta plasticÄ", 1959, no. 5 in the article dedicated to Nicolae DÄrÄscu by Victor Eftimiu. The artwork was part of the retrospective exhibition "N. DÄrÄscu", Art Museum of the Socialist Republic of Romania, Bucharest, 1966 and is mentioned and reproduced in the exhibition catalogue at cat. 70, p. 78 under the title "Vedere din VeneÈia" ("View from Venice").
