Spring Auction #539/2024

The Spring Auction brings for the first time a collection of six works by Nicolae Tonitza, from nude to landscape or the fascinating gladioli, to the delicate representation of childhood. Historical, emblematic collections, which are the foundation of the art market, are present in a remarkable selection, where Nicolae Grigorescu with his characteristic plein air style, the geometrized compositions of Ion Theodorescu-Sion, the vivid pastel of Ștefan Luchian, the academic elegance of Constantin Lecca alongside the works of Nicolae Vermont and many others come together.
