The medals, "Constitution, First Anniversary, February 27, 1938 - February 27, 1939" and "Constitution, First Anniversary, February 27, 1938 - February 27, 1939", are reproduced in Georgescu, M.P., "Sculptor Emil Wilhelm Becker. Unpublished Aspects", pages 244-252 in "Materials of History and Museography", The Bucharest City Museum, 2010, page 248.
The pieces mark the moment of the enactment by King Carol II of the Constitution of 1938, which inaugurated a personal regime, after the abolition of the Constitution of 1923. The matrix and the three medals are signed by the artist on the plate, on the reverse, in the upper right side.
