Exceptional state of conservation. It presents a striking gloss. This Romanian gold coin is very heavy and very rare (only 3,000 pieces were minted). Coins from this series, minted in 1906, were issued to celebrate forty years since the ascension to the throne of Carol I. Minted in Brussels, they were engraved by Alfons Michaux.
