DeWitt Academia Grande Date wristwatch, white gold, men, reference 1501.48, automatic movement. Silver-coloured dial, luminescent minute hand and hour hand, date at the 12 o'clock and day at the 6 o'clock. Black alligator leather strap with original deployant type closure system. Established in 2003 by Count Jérôme de Witt, a direct descendant of European kings and emperors, among which Emperor Napoleon I, DeWitt has its roots in authentic historic heritage. The company proves its passion for Fine Watchmaking through an innovative, ever-evolving spirit. Two years after the establishment, DeWitt registered its first patent for Tourbillon Différentiel, which won the innovation award in the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. The brand expanded its Tourbillons collection with famous inventions such as Academia Tourbillon Force Constante and Academia Tourbillon Force Constante à Chaîne. The unique case pattern is inspired by imperial columns. The wristwatches of this brand are very exclusive, manufactured in a very low number, combining high-tech materials with traditional watchmaking manufacture, being, at the same time, one of the four Swiss watchmaking houses manufacturing both their movements and the dials.
