The slogan "Illegal Business Controls America" is one that Supreme has used for years, dating back to 2003 with the initial launch of the "Illegal Business Tee". They brought it back into the public eye in 2007, for the launch of a zip-up hoodie, and, in 2018, for skateboards, made using Supreme's signature slanted Futura font.
