The auction "A Small Family Collection". Auction of Interwar Romanian Painting presents a series of works with diverse thematic and stylistic variety, where we find the beloved seascapes of Rudolf Negely and Dimitrie Florian, genre scenes or illustrated situations by Antal Peczely or Imre Gergely, still lifes signed by Constantin Isachie Popescu, Elena Muller-Stăncescu and Leon Biju, expressive portraits or nudes from Ion Stătescu to Carol Hubner. The selection also includes graphic works by some of the most beloved Romanian artists such as the engravings of Theodor Aman, the landscapes of Nicolae Dărăscu and Ion Theodorescu-Sion, the woodcuts of Nicolae Vermont or the enigmatic characters of Theodor Pallady.
