"The Goddess from Montreal", or "Perfect Nadia", are just two of the superlatives with which Nadia Comăneci entered sports history after, in the uneven bars competition at the Montreal Olympic Games in 1976, she obtained the first 10 in the history of Olympic artistic gymnastics competitions. Nadia started gymnastics at the age of 5, being selected by coach Marcel Duncan and legitimated at AS Flacara Onești. The Montreal Olympic Games entered sports history as the "Nadia Comăneci Olympics", after Nadia received 7 scores of 10 (the first in the history of Olympic artistic gymnastics competitions, with the first Olympic 10 being noted at uneven bars) and established an "absolute record": 20 points, at uneven bars (according to the scoring code of that time). In 1993, Nadia Comăneci became the first Romanian gymnast included in the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame.
