On congregations of clouds, shrouded in red cloaks, Jesus with the cross of the Crucifixion on his right shoulder, God the Father with a golden scepter in his left hand, holding a golden globe on his knee, the two place a golden crown on the head of the Virgin, who is represented standing, on a cluster of clouds, clad in a blue mantle; above, the Holy Spirit, depicted as a dove, spills its golden rays from a cluster of clouds. On the verso of the icon is the date, written in black Cyrillic characters: "1755". (M.B.)
