Jesus Christ, depicted below the waist, dressed in a red chiton and olive-green himation, decorated with stylized plant motifs, blesses with his right hand and holds the open Gospel with his left. The face is graphically rendered, according to the typical post-Brancovan school style. He wears a cruciger halo around his head, small in proportion to his shoulders, above stylized clouds the intercessors Mother of God and John the Baptist are depicted. (M.B.)
