For a vulnerable child dreaming of becoming an artist, painting is not just a passion – it is a refuge when the world around becomes overwhelming. In front of the easel, they find freedom, and the colors speak what sometimes cannot be expressed in words. Hardships and shortages do not disappear, but transform into strength, hope, and art. Over the 28 years dedicated to vulnerable children, Hope and Homes for Children Foundation has discovered and supported numerous talented children and young people, whose dreams were threatened by lack of resources. Dimitra and Elena are two of the young women supported by Hope and Homes for Children. They are pursuing university studies in the field of art and participate in exhibitions, but their path to success is always challenged. Sometimes they paint over older works or use alternative materials to support not only their artistic and academic pursuits but also their daily expenses. Like Dimitra and Elena, many children and young people whose talent and sensitivity deserve to be discovered and supported. Thus, your contribution means an investment in the next generation of artists.
This lot has no material expression, but rather a symbolic one, strictly spiritual. The winner or participants do not receive a valuable object in exchange for the winning bid; instead, since it is in fact a donation or sponsorship, they receive a certificate of award. The document is offered both to the participant who offered the highest amount and to all those who contributed to achieving the charitable goal. The pricing regime is cumulative; therefore, offers are not mutually exclusive but, in relation to the humanitarian purpose of the auction, are accumulated, reflecting the current total price and the number of participants.
