Premiere: the national history told from the monetary circulation's perspective Embark on a journey into the history of the Romanian currency, starting from the Dacian drachmas, moving on to Ștefan cel Mare's groats ("groși") up to modern-day Romania. The numismatist's dedication and genuine passion have led to an impressive collection, mostly made up of no less than 28 top pop graded coins, 123 silver coins, and 23 gold pieces, which also lend it high investment potential. One of the valuable pieces of this collection is the 5 Lei coin dating from 1881, with six stars and six rays on its edge, being the rarest version of a coin having this nominal value from the time Charles I of Romania, so rare that the great Erwin Scaffer considered it to be a proof coin.
