A numismatist's office is full of rarities which would complete any authentic collection. As we explore two thousand years of history, we discover coins originating from the Histrian Greeks, the Groats and Ducats from the reign of the great Wallachian and Moldavian Voivodes, Transylvanian Talers from the times of Sigismund Bathory or Gabriel Bethlen, up till the highly coveted silver monetary issues from the reign of Carol I. The catalogue also contains an important collection of rare Romanian and foreign medals and plates belonging to an ancient Romanian numismatist, but also a selection of specialist literature, printed in Romania starting from 1858.
