The photo album printed by Socec Publishing House in Bucharest in honour of King Carol I and the revived Romanian army contains over 250 illustrations of, among others, the royal family, army commanders, military units, barracks and the equipment used in the 173 pages of the volume. Information about the Patron Saints of the military units, their history and actions or headquarters is provided in 3 languages, French, German and Romanian.
