Constantin Leonida, one of Romania's leading industrialists, remains in history today through the promotion of the automobile in Romania, and through its impressive factories. He owned the largest repair shops in Bucharest through his company "Leonida & Co." His son, Leon Leonida, was a famous driver and car enthusiast. The medal created by the artist Ion Jalea aims to commemorate the work of the Romanian industrialist and the success of his numerous businesses.
