This volume contains short stories, anecdotes, scenes of morals relating to the entertainments, the world of fashion, the Parisian cabarets of the early 19th century, after the end of the Napoleonic era. The volume, published by the French journalist and the writer J.P.R. Cuisin, is decorated with four engravings made on copper, unsigned. The copy has a nineteenth-century binding made in pergamoid, with the leather shelf-back and is well preserved.
