The medal is dedicated both to Alexandru Băicoianu, a legal personality of the 19th century and author of the Romanian Civil Law Treaty, and to the 25th anniversary of the Urban Land Credit Society from Bucharest. The piece was made by the engraver Mauriciu Carniol. The obverse shows the left-facing bust of the magistrate and the circular inscription "To the work and activity of A.l. G. Băicoianu 1875-1900'', while the reverse shows the city of Bucharest, surrounded by the name of the Society, overflown by the goddess Victoria, holding a palm branch and a laurel wreath in her hands, next to the superimposed square and compass, the universal symbol of Freemasonry.
