The obverse of the medal includes the bust of the Romanian jurist and publicist Ion Kalinderu, viewed from the front and slightly facing left, his name and the inscription in exergue "Administrator of Crown Domains", while its reverse includes a central rural landscape, and the phrase "Officials of the Crown Domain - tribute to their respected chief on the occasion / Anniversary of XXV years of administration of the domain since its establishment, 1884 - 1909".
