Arriving in New York in the '70s, Victor Hugo quickly integrated into the city's creative circles, making a mark with his eccentric style and magnetic presence. His relationship with fashion designer Halston brought him closer to the artistic elite of the time, where he met Andy Warhol. An intense creative collaboration formed between the two, with Hugo becoming a muse and model for several of Warhol's visual series, including bold, experimental projects. Their artistic dialogue continued post-mortem, with exhibitions such as "The Secret Sculptures of Andy Warhol & Victor Hugo" (New York, 2025).
