Italian engraver and editor Antonio Zatta (1757-1797), also known for having published in an illustrated edition of Goldoni's theatre plays, printed in Venice his main cartographic work, "The New Atlas", which also includes the two present pieces, "Moldavia and Wallachia" and "The Kingdom of Hungary". The work was published under the patronage of the Senate of Venice. Engraving on copper, manually coloured after imprinting.
