The yatagan dissipated as a battle weapon across the Balkans thanks to the Ottoman influence. The blade is made of iron and decorated with brass insertions in the shape of stylised vegetable motifs. The blade's bottom is marked with a brass foil which is present on both sides. Stylised vegetable motifs can be found here as well, just like on the handle with wooden hilts.
