patinated bronze, d=40 mm

The medal represents a direct testimony of the reconstruction of the St. Pantelimon Hospice in 1868, a work started during the reign of Carol I and linked to the development of medical institutions in Bucharest. The reverse legend records both the origin of the establishment, erected by Grigore Ghica Vodă in 1750 and rebuilt on July 27, 1868.

For clarifications regarding the bidding procedure, hammer price costs, guarantee, payment, and collection terms for the winning lot, we recommend carefully reading/re-reading the Bidding Regulations.
