The participation of the Romanian army against Bulgaria in the Second Balkan War of 1913 was accompanied by a strong propaganda, both narrative, written, and visual. The present postcards are part of the CAMARA series edited for propaganda purposes at the initiative of the Great Staff of the army, a series that enjoyed a great success during the time. The pieces of the series were numbered, the present ones having the numbers 17 and 44, a total of 50. On the back, each postcard presents the ex-libris of a lottery in the form of a stamp. One of the pieces circulated in 1914 Bucharest-Epinal, Vosges, France and presents a second ex-libris stamped Adalbert Hussard, Calugareasca Valley.
