The album belonged to a bureaucrat from the PCR Household, an institution that coordinated, among its other duties, Nicolae Ceauşescu's hunts. The photographs, made as official materials within a closed circuit, capture the entire hunting ceremony, from the arrival of the participants, the chasing and shooting of the game, to the admiration of the trophies. The hunt took place on October 16, 1977. In the National Archives, under the title "Nicolae Ceauşescu’s private life," there are 63 photo albums, among which, the name of Alexandru Andron appears as the author of the photographs taken at a hunt in the same field from the Bistriţa Năsăud Forest District, in 1984. Also, the hunting event from October 16-17, 1977 is reproduced in various instances in album number 31 from "Nicolae Ceauşescu’s private life," as mentioned in the State Archives.
